OxygenOS Update with November Patch is Rolling-Out for OnePlus 9R

OnePlus, the Chinese Android OEM, has started rolling out a new update for the OnePlus 9R. The latest update brings November 2021 Android security patch to the handset. The company has already rolled out the November patch for other OnePlus 9 series handsets – OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The November patch for the update comes with OxygenOS OnePlus took it to OnePlus Community to make an announcement for the same. OnePlus says that this OTA will be incremental. Hence, it has been rolled out to a small percentage of users as of now, and the company will begin a broader rollout in a few days.

OnePlus 9R: Features and Specifications

The OnePlus handset features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel features a punch-hole notch and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, with up to 12GB RAM. The OnePlus 9R offers a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16MP Sony IMX481 ultra-wide lens with 123-degree FoV, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP monochrome lens.

The OnePlus 9R is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery and 65W WARP Charge 65 fast charging. The handset boots Android 11 for now. However, the handset is eligible to get Android 12 update.
