OnePlus 9RT With 65W Fast Charging Supported Spotted on 3C Certification, Launch Imminent

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of a new handset in the OnePlus 9 series dubbed as the OnePlus 9RT. The smartphone is rumoured to launch on October 15. The specifications of the device were first reported last month by Android Central. The device was spotted on BIS certification by the end of August. The OnePlus 9RT was listed on the certification website with the model number as MT2111. Now, in a recent development, the OnePlus 9RT has gained the required 3C certification in China. The certification reveals the charging capability of the handset and the model number ahead of the official launch.

OnePlus 9RT Receives 3C Certification

According to the 3C certification, the OnePlus 9RT carries the model number as MT2110. The handset will offer 65W fast charging and 5G connectivity support as per the 3C certification. The past leak suggests that the OnePlus 9RT will be an upgrade over the OnePlus 9 in terms of the camera configuration. The rest of the specifications of the OnePlus 9RT are believed to be the same as the OnePlus 9R, which does mean that the handset will sport a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel is said to have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.


Under the hood, the OnePlus 9RT is supposed to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 SoC. The smartphone is expected to ship with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, the OnePlus 9RT is said to boot Android 12 out of the box with OxygenOS 12 skin on top. As for the imaging purpose, the device is said to feature a triple-camera setup which might consist of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. The 50MP sensor might be accompanied by a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. A 4500mAh battery is said to fuel the device. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the handset might feature a 16MP camera. Connectivity-wise, we can expect the device to offer dual-SIM support, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
