The OnePlus 9RT will be unveiled on October 13 in China. Ahead of the launch, the company has already revealed several specifications and features of the upcoming flagship device. Now, a fresh set of teasers from OnePlus and a new leak has given us more information on the device. The OnePlus 9RT is already confirmed to feature Snapdragon 888 processor, 120Hz E4 AMOLED display, 65W fast charging and much more. Now, the new teaser has given us information on the Virtual RAM and a new colour option of the device.

OnePlus 9RT will feature 7GB of Virtual RAM

The trend of Virtual RAM is picking its pace and we’ve seen many budget phones, mid-range phones, and even flagship phones having the Virtual RAM feature. Similar to the OnePlus 9 series, the OnePlus 9RT will feature up to 7GB of Virtual RAM. With this feature enabled, the device will be able to use the phone’s internal storage as RAM which effectively increases the total amount of RAM on the phone. Further, the handset will come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Another improvement over the OnePlus 9 series will come in the form of a cooling system. The OnePlus 9RT will feature a five-dimensional heat dissipation design that offers 20%  improved cooling efficiency, thanks to the 59% better VC cooling chamber. The phone will also come with a 600Hz touch response rate.

Hacker Black Edition leaked

Further, a report from Gizmochina suggests OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 9RT Hacker Black Edition. Apart from the Black colour paint job on the back, the device looks similar to the Silver variant that the company has been teasing for a while. The phone is said to come in three colour options – Black, Silver, and Blue. It looks like the Hacker Black Edition comes with a matte finish on the back along with a three-camera setup led by a 50MP sensor.

In terms of other specifications, the OnePlus 9RT is said to come with a 6.55-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 SoC, 4,500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65T fast charging. You can check out the full specifications of the upcoming device from OnePlus here
