OnePlus Ace 2 Pro with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was recently spotted on the Geekbench database.
The handset will feature up to 150W fast charging support.
It will sport up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
OnePlus, back in February, introduced the OnePlus Ace 2 lineup in the Chinese market. The Ace 2 lineup, as of now, consists of two models – the OnePlus Ace 2 and the OnePlus Ace 2V. The company is now gearing up to launch yet another smartphone under the Ace 2 lineup – the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will launch this month in the Chinese market.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to bring several improvements over the OnePlus Ace 2 that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Let us take a look at what we know about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro so far and what it might have in store for us.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, as per a renowned tipster, will feature a curved OLED display that will measure 6.74 inches. The display on the device is said to have a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a centred punch hole notch, similar to the Ace 2. Reportedly, the company has sourced these display panels from BOE.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, a couple of weeks ago, was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database. As per the benchmark listing, the upcoming OnePlus flagship will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which is Qualcomm’s top-tier processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 brings with it an integrated Adreno 740 GPU.
Further, the listing revealed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will have 16GB RAM under the hood. As per a tipster, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will feature up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and will be equipped with up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will come pre-loaded with Android 13 but as usual, we can expect it to feature ColorOS skin on top.
The Ace 2 Pro is tipped to include a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS support. The upcoming OnePlus handset might come equipped with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. As for the front camera, the handset might rely on a 16MP shooter.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has also cleared 3C certification in China. The handset is expected to come in 100W and 150W fast charging configuration options. Both these variants are tipped to sport a 5000mAh battery unit.
The OnePlus Ace 2 made its debut in the global market as the OnePlus 11R. Also, last year’s OnePlus Ace Pro was launched as the OnePlus 10T in markets outside China. Thus there is a possibility of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro making its global debut as the OnePlus 11T.
