OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Confirmed Specifications
OnePlus has confirmed that the forthcoming Ace 2 Pro will have a 6.74-inch flexible OLED display. The company ensures that it will source the BOE Q9+ screen with a 1.5K resolution. The display will have a pixel of 2772 × 1240, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a pixel density of 450 PPI, and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. OnePlus will also equip the display with 1.07 billion display colours and HDR10+ certification.
The display will also have an ultra-narrow bottom bezel of 2.17mm. OnePlus also confirms that the display will have 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, which makes it suitable for low-light usage. The forthcoming smartphone also gets TUV Rheinland global eye protection certification. The teaser shared by OnePlus confirms that the display gets three significant levels of low blue light eye protection certifications.
OnePlus has also shared a teaser video where it displays the display of Ace 2 Pro works in wet conditions. The company compares the display of the smartphone with the iPhone 14 Pro, where the display doesn’t respond in wet conditions. The company claims that the BOE Q9+ screen features colour cast improvement compared to its predecessor. The Q9+ panel also brings better night light optimization and improved brightness. OnePlus has also confirmed to equip the Ace 2 Pro smartphone with a large 5000 mAh battery.
The smartphone will be equipped with 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging tech. OnePlus claims the smartphone can charge from 0 to 100 in 17 minutes. The company also confirms the presence of a dedicated SUPERVOOC S power management chipset. The dedicated power management chipset will ensure the battery is durable for four years or 1600 charging cycles. OnePlus claims that the battery life of its upcoming Ace 2 Pro smartphone is similar to other flagship smartphones. The company also adds that it will ship the smartphone with a GaN charging adapter.
The GaN charger’s portability will benefit Ace 2 Pro users who travel frequently. OnePlus and OPPO users often complain about the huge size of its chargers. OnePlus confirms the GaN charger will support 45W PD charging and dual USB Type-C output. The company also adds that smartphones and chargers support UFCS’s fast-faring protocol, making it compatible with third-party UFCS charging adapters. OnePlus previously confirmed that the smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and up to 24GB RAM.
