The upcoming Ace series smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that is manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process. To those unaware, the same processor was used in the OnePlus Ace Pro, which is called the OnePlus 10T in global markets. The tipster further claims that the OnePlus Ace 2 will come equipped with a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone will support 100W fast charging as claimed by the tipster.
The tipster further claims that the upcoming Ace series smartphone will offer a curved AMOLED display. If true, it will make the Ace 2 the first Ace series smartphone with a curved display. The display on the upcoming Ace 2 is tipped to be an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. The tipster also says that the OnePlus Ace 2 will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and will support 100W fast charging. The upcoming handset is also tipped to feature a 50MP camera.
Going by these specifications, it appears that the OnePlus Ace 2 could be a rebranded OnePlus 11R. To those unaware, recently MySmartPrice exclusively revealed some live images and some key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 11R. The OnePlus 11R will feature the alert slider which the company had skipped on the OnePlus 10R. Also, this means that the OnePlus Ace 2 could be the first Ace series smartphone with an alert-slider.
The OnePlus 11R might also be the first OnePlus smartphone with an infrared blaster, as revealed through the live images. The OnePlus 11R will feature a curved display with a centered punch-hole notch. In other OnePlus-related news, the brand is all set to launch its flagship – the OnePlus 11 on January 4 in China. The OnePlus 11 will make its India debut on February 7.
