OnePlus, back in July 2021, launched the OnePlus Buds Pro TWS. The OnePlus Buds Pro is the company’s flagship TWS and is more than a year old. The company is expected to launch the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 soon as the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus audio product recently surfaced on the web. Now, MySmartPrice has exclusively learnt that the serial production of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 has begun in several Asian and European regions, courtesy of tipster Mukul Sharma.
Mukul also revealed that the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will make its official debut alongside the OnePlus 11. These products are expected to launch in Q1, 2023. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 has also cleared SIRIM certification. Let us take a closer look at what we know about the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 so far.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2: Leaked Specifications and Features
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is said to retain the in-ear design with stem from its predecessor. This means that the upcoming OnePlus Buds will come with silicon tips. The upcoming audio product from the OnePlus is said to feature 11mm and 6mm dual audio drivers.
Similar to most flagship TWS, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will offer active noise cancellation (otherwise known as ANC) with up to 45dB adaptive noise cancellation. It will also have the capability to adjust the noise cancellation intensity based on ambient noise automatically. The Buds Pro 2 is said to come equipped with three microphones. These will offer better voice calls compared to the last year’s OnePlus Buds Pro.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is also expected to offer spatial audio support with LHDC 4.0 audio codec. As per the leaks, the OnePlus Buds Pro is said to offer 38 hours of battery life (without ANC enabled). However, with the ANC, the battery life is claimed to be about 22 hours. It will support Type-C fast charging as well as wireless charging, similar to its predecessor.
