OnePlus launched the Ace 2V earlier today in China. The new premium smartphone from OnePlus features a Dimensity 9000 SoC along with a 1.5K OLED 120Hz display. The phone also features a 5000mAh battery and a 64MP triple-camera setup. Alongside, OnePlus also launched a new premium TWS in China called the Buds Pro 2 Lite. The new OnePlus truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds are a trimmed-down version of the Buds Pro 2, which was launched earlier this year in India as well. The Buds Pro 2 Lite has already been launched in India as the Buds Pro 2R.
The Buds Pro 2 Lite is similar to the Buds Pro 2 in terms of design. The company has partnered with German composer Hans Zimmer for tuning the Buds Pro 2 Lite. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite specifications, price and other details ahead of the launch.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite Price and Specifications
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Lite TWS has been launched in China. The premium pair of wireless earbuds sit below the flagship Buds Pro 2. The Buds Pro 2 Lite has been launched in China for CNY 799 (roughly Rs 9,400). In comparison. Its Indian variant, which is called the Buds Pro 2R, has been priced at Rs 9,999. The Buds Pro 2R is set to go on sale on March 14 in India.
The Buds Pro 2 Lite has the same stem design as the Buds Pro 2. There is a dual-tone design at the bottom half of the earbuds, whereas the top half has a matte finish. The Buds Pro 2 Lite does not support the head tracking feature for spatial audio.
Another difference that separates the Buds Pro 2 Lite from its flagship counterpart is the lack of support for wireless charging. The earbuds have the same 11mm dynamic drivers with 6mm planar diaphragm drivers. They also come with support for active noise cancellation (ANC) with up to 48 dB along with transparency mode. The company has partnered with Dynaudio as well to tune the earbuds further.
There is support for an ultra-low 54 ms latency gaming mode, LHDC 5.0 audio codec, Bluetooth 5.2, etc. The earbuds are claimed to offer up to 39 hours of battery life with the charging case. The earbuds alone offer up to 6 hours of battery life when ANC is enabled. Without ANC, the earbuds are claimed to offer up to nine hours of battery life.
As mentioned above, the earbuds will be available soon in India. OnePlus Buds Pro 2R will be available for Rs 9,999 from March 14, according to an Amazon India listing. What are your thoughts on the new OnePlus earbuds? Let us know in the comments below.
