OnePlus Buds Pro 2R true wireless earbuds were announced in India a few days back in India along with OnePlus 11 series, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, and OnePlus Pad. This was one of the surprise announcements from the event as well. During the launch event, last week, the company announced that the more affordable OnePlus Buds Pro 2R will be available for purchase in March and the company also revealed the price.
While the company did not reveal the specs and features of this TWS at the launch, later it was revealed. The Pro 2R misses out on a couple of major features compared to the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and now, the 2R’s e-commerce availability has also been confirmed.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2R: Availability and Price in India
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R will be available on Amazon in India and the device will go on sale in March. The company is yet to confirm the pre-order or the sale date for the same. As for the pricing, this TWS will be priced at Rs 9,999 and will come in Obsidian Black and Misty White colour options.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2R: Specifications and Features
Starting off with the missing features, the Buds Pro 2R from OnePlus misses out on the head tracking feature, which means there is no support for spatial audio on that device. In addition, the 2R also misses out on wireless charging support. This means the TWS can only be charged using the Type-C port and not Qi wireless charger.
Barring the aforementioned two major immissions, the Buds Pro 2R brings all the goodness from the flagship Buds Pro 2. The Buds Pro 2R will come with in-ear style earbuds and are powered by dual drivers. There is an 11mm dynamic drivers along with 6mm planar diaphragm drivers. It features active noise cancellation (ANC) with up to 48 dB, transparency mode and ultra-low latency gaming mode.
OnePlus has collaborated with Dynaudio, which offers a better-tuned audio experience. The TWS offers pressure-sensitive controls and can be used to adjust volume, take/reject calls, and skip tracks. It comes with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity for audio transmission. The Buds Pro 2R supports LHDC 5.0, AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs. There is support for dual connections as well. The Buds Pro 2R are rated to last up to 9 hours (without ANC) on a single charge and overall, these are rated to last up to 39 hours (without ANC).
