OnePlus launched the Nord 2 in India and Europe on July 22. The new OnePlus phone was accompanied by a pair of truly wireless earbuds (TWS). The Buds Pro come with a bunch of upgrades over the original Buds launched last year. The highlight feature of the Buds Pro is support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). OnePlus’ TWS come with three microphones to cancel out outside noise. The earbuds have a stem design and come with silicone ear tips. OnePlus has introduced the Buds Pro as its latest TWS in India. The new earbuds come with several upgrades over the standards Buds. OnePlus’ new earbuds cost $149 in the US, which is roughly Rs 11,100. The India pricing and availability details remain unknown at the moment. It comes in two colours – Black and White.

As mentioned earlier, the earbuds come with ANC support. OnePlus says that its earbuds come with a Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation feature that reduces outside noise by 40dB. The earbuds also use the inbuilt three mics to enhance the user’s voice during calls while keeping ambient noise at bay.


The TWS also comes with support for a low-latency LHDC audio codec. Each earbud has an 11mm driver to offer a “precisely boosted” sound profile. The earbuds, with ANC on, offer five hours of battery life. Disable the ANC and you are likely to get up to seven hours worth of juice. The charging case offers an additional 31 hours of battery life. Users can charge the Buds Pro using Warp charging tech to get 10 hours of battery life within a 10-minute charge. It also supports Qi-wireless charging.

To connect the earbuds, non-OnePlus smartphone users can download the HeyMelody app. Other features include support for the OnePlus Audio ID, Bluetooth 5.2, IPX5 rating for splash and dust resistance, etc. The earbuds weigh 4.35 grams, whereas the charging case weighs 52 grams.
