The OnePlus Buds Z2 will be launched tomorrow along with the OnePlus 9RT in China. The key specifications of the Buds Z2 true wireless earbuds were leaked a few days back and the retail packaging leak gave us more details. Now, OnePlus has confirmed several features of the upcoming wireless buds which more or less confirms all the leaked and rumoured specifications that have been around for a while. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Buds Z2 full specifications.

OnePlus has posted a Weibo platform where the company has listed out seven major upgrades that the OnePlus Buds Z2 is getting over the OnePlus Buds Z from 2020. Starting off with the key highlight, the TWS will come with active noise cancellation (ANC) with up to 40dB active noise reduction. The TWS will feature three microphones which should help when it comes to calls.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 is also getting an upgrade in the battery department. While the last-gen TWS offered 20 hours battery life which included 5 hours from the buds and 15 hours with the case, the Buds Z2 will offer 38 hours battery life, similar to the OnePlus Buds Pro. In terms of low-latency mode, the Buds Z2 will be able to achieve 94ms which should help during gaming. 

Furthermore, in terms of audio, the OnePlus Buds Z2 will feature an 11mm moving coil driver unit along with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. For context, its predecessor comes with a 10mm driver and Bluetooth 5. Lastly, the new TWS will also come with a transparency mode which allows you to be aware of your surroundings while listening to music.

Other expected features include a USB Type-C port, in-ear design, interchangeable eartips, Dolby Atmos support, and a 520mAh battery inside the case.
