The OnePlus Buds Pro are one of the best TWS earbuds available in the Indian market today in the premium segment. If you ever wanted to own the Buds Pro, but couldn’t because of the premium price, OnePlus has got your back now with the launch of the OnePlus Buds Z2 in India today. The OnePlus Buds Z2 brings most of the goodness of the OnePlus Buds Pro and it costs half the price of the Buds Pro.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 was announced way back in October 2021 along with the OnePlus 9RT launch in China and after three months, the company has finally launched the same in India. The OnePlus Buds Z2 is the successor to the Buds Z, which came out in 2020 and the Buds Z2 brings upgrades like active noise cancellation, extended battery life, audio experience, and more.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 are priced at Rs 4,999 in India and will go on sale starting January via Amazon. The Buds Z2 are available in Black and White colour options. These buds will go on sale starting January 18 on Flipkart, Amazon, and Official OnePlus channels.

The key feature of the OnePlus Buds Z2 active noise cancellation. The Buds Z2 offers up to 40db active noise cancellation, the same as the Buds Pro. On the inside, there is an 11mm bass-tuned dynamic driver setup with support for Dolby Atmos support on the select device. For wireless connectivity, you get Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with support for AAC/SBC codecs. Given the price, the lack of support for LHDC is understandable here.OnePlus Buds Z2

As for the design, these look similar to the last-gen Buds Z with an in-ear style design along with a stem and also the carry case. Apart from ANC, there is also a transparency mode that allows you to be aware of your surroundings. The earbuds come with three mics for calls and noise cancellation. They are also IP55 rated for dust and water resistance. For controls, you get touch functions like single click, double click, triple-click, and long press.

On a single charge, the Buds are rated to last up to 38 including the case with the buds themselves offering up to 7 hours of battery life. There is a 520mAh battery on the inside. A quick 10-minute charge will offer up to 5 hours of music playback while a full charge takes 90 minutes. For charging, you get a USB Type-C port and there’s no wireless charger support. There is also a low-latency mode which takes the latency down to 94ms and Dolby Atmos on select OnePlus devices.
