OnePlus could launch the 9R T later this year. Rumours suggest that the new OnePlus smartphone will make its global debut sometime in October 2021. The company has not yet confirmed the exact launch date of the R-series affordable flagship. While we wait for that, OnePlus is also rumoured to launch a pair of new truly wireless earbuds (TWS). According to a new leak, the OnePlus Buds Z2 will be the next TWS from the Chinese smartphone giant. Tipster Max Jambor has leaked some key details of the upcoming OnePlus TWS ahead of the launch.
OnePlus Buds Z2 specifications leaked
OnePlus Buds Z2 specifications and features have leaked online. The upcoming OnePlus TWS is expected to launch in October alongside the OnePlus 9RT. Tipster Max Jambor claims that OnePlus will launch the budget TWS with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The feature was not available on the currently available Buds Z.
In addition to this, the TWS will also come with support for Dolby Atmos, which again was not found on the original Buds Z. The earbuds will offer up to seven hours of battery life on a single charge. The rumoured battery life is likely to be on offer with the ANC turned off. Combined with the charging case, the Buds Z2 will offer up to 38 hours. It will also support Warp charging, which will offer up to five hours of battery with a 10-minute charge.
Other specifications revealed include Bluetooth 5.2 support and an IP55 rating for water and splash resistance. The Buds Z2 is said to come in Black and White colour options. Design renders of the OnePlus Z2 earbuds had leaked in the past. It revealed that the design will be fairly similar to the original Buds Z. The earbuds will have a stem design.
