OnePlus announced the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro for the global markets in February 2023. The company also launched OnePlus TV Q2 Pro 65 and OnePlus Hub 5G router. OnePlus only announced the pricing of its TV at the launch event. The company didn’t announce the pricing for its keyboard and router.
The products were launched along with the OnePlus 11 series smartphones. OnePlus launched OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R in the same event. The company had announced that it wouldn’t launch any other smartphones in the OnePlus 11 series. Recently, OnePlus unveiled Nord 3 and Nord 3 CE in India. The company has finally announced the pricing of the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro in India.
OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro: Pricing, Availablity and Specifications
OnePlus has announced that the company’s first keyboard will be priced at Rs 17,999. The early access sale is scheduled for July 18 to July 24. OnePlus also informs that the open sale of the product will start on August 7.
The company has also announced the pricing for the US and Canadian markets. The product will be available for USD 219 (approx. Rs 17,980) from July 26. OnePlus has priced its first keyboard equally in global and Indian markets. OnePlus has designed Keyboard 81 Pro in collaboration with Keychron. The company equips the keyboard with mechanical keys.
OnePlus has equipped the keys with white and grey keycaps. OnePlus said that it is equipped with springy thermoplastic elastomer marble-mallow keycaps. The company has used bold red for Return and Esc keys to align with OnePlus’s design trend.
The company said that keycaps will offer a soft bounce to enhance comfort. OnePlus uses aluminium for the bottom case of the keyboard. The keyboard has been equipped with lilt legs to make adjustments. OnePlus equips the device with a customizable rotating knob. The knob can be used to control various things.
The device has been equipped with a USB Type-C port. OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro also features a toggle key to switch between wired and wireless modes. The toggle key resembles the alert slider in OnePlus smartphones.
The device is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. OnePlus has equipped the device with a 4000 mAh battery. OnePlus claims the keyboard will last up to 100 hours on low brightness.
The device will take around 5 hours to charge from 0 to 100. OnePlus uses Bluetooth 5.1 protocol for wireless connectivity. The device has a wireless range of 10 metres.
The company has launched the product in Dark Grey and Light Grey colour options. The product has a dimension of 33.83 x 15.05 x 4.73 cm. OnePlus has equipped the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro box with a type-C to type-C cable and type-A to type-C adapter.
