OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord Core Edition earlier this month in the country. The company seems to be gearing up for another smartphone launch. OnePlus is said to launch OnePlus Nord 2 5G, the successor to OG OnePlus Nord that launched last year in July. The Nord 2 is tipped to make its debut sometime next month in the country. Ahead of the launch, the upcoming Nord 2 has now been spotted on the AI benchmark website revealing key specifications of the handset. The upcoming Nord 2 visited the AI benchmark website earlier this morning revealing the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood. The certification website further revealed that the Nord 2 will have an 8GB RAM variant. To recall, the Dimensity 1200 is built on a 6nm fabrication process, and also powers the Realme X7 Max.

OnePlus Nord 2: What we know so far?

An earlier report had suggested that the handset will offer a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, similar to the OG Nord. The upcoming Nord 2 is said to offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and another 2MP sensor. For the selfies, the handset might offer a 32MP shooter housed inside a punch-hole notch.

OnePlus Nord 2 is said to sport a 4,500mAh battery, about 10% more compared to the OG Nord. The handset might retail only in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants.
