OnePlus has scheduled the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone in India on July 22nd. The device is subject to multiple leaks from the last few days. Apart from these leaks, we already are aware of the fact that the company has been confirming key aspect of the handset ahead of the official launch. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G had appeared on the Geekbench benchmark a few days back. The Geekbench platform had confirmed the hardware specifications of the device ahead of launch. The phone’s renders were even revealed online a few days back courtesy of Pricebaba. Now, in a recent development, OnePlus Nord 2 5G design render is leaked in red colour. The render reveals the Nord 2 design ahead of the launch.

The OnePlus Nord 2 5G render in red colour comes courtesy of popular leakster Evan Blass. If we have a glance at the image revealed online, we can see that the device will be featuring a triple camera setup and a punch-hole display. The design of the phone was already revealed by OnePlus on its official Instagram account a few days back. With this new render, we can conclude the fact that the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be available in three colour options that include – Blue Haze, Gray Sierra, and Red colour. As far as the phone’s specifications go, OnePlus has been confirming key details of the handset from the last few days. The company already had confirmed earlier that the device will be arriving with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that will have a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
Under the hood, the Nord 2 5G will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 1200-AI chipset. The phone is said to ship in 8GB/12GB RAM options along with 128GB/256GB storage. On the software side of things, the Nord 2 5G will be running Android 11 out of the box. In terms of the optics department, the device will feature a triple-camera setup. The company has already confirmed earlier that the Nord 2 5G will be featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. The 50MP main camera is supposed to be accompanied by 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP monochrome camera. For selfies and video-calling, the handset will feature a 32MP camera. The device is supposed to ship with a 4500 mAh battery that might offer 65W fast charging support.
As per the leaked pricing details, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage will be priced for Rs 32,000. The top-end Nord 2 5G model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration is said to retail for Rs 35,000.
