OnePlus Nord 2 launch in India is slated for July 22. The company has started creating buzz around the device’s key specs and features. OnePlus has already confirmed some of the key Nord 2 specs and features ahead of the launch. The new OnePlus smartphone will have the same screen size as the original Nord. It will sport a 6.43-inch AMOLED display. The device is also confirmed to come with support for HDR10+. The Nord 2 will draw power from a customised version of the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, which the company calls the Dimensity 1200 AI SoC. After unveiling some details about the device’s internals, OnePlus has now unveiled its rear panel design. OnePlus Nord 2 design revealed
OnePlus is gearing up for the Nord 2 launch. The company has revealed the device’s design ahead of the July 22 launch date. The design reveals the device’s rear camera module layout and one of the two rumoured colour options.
The triple-camera module design is quite similar to the OnePlus 9. It has two large circular cutouts and a small sensor placed inside the rectangular module. The LED flash is also placed inside the camera module. At the centre of the Bluish-green rear panel is the OnePlus logo. This colour option could be called Blue Haze.
OnePlus has already confirmed that the phone will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, which is used as the ultrawide sensor on the OnePlus 9 series. The primary camera will support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The Nord 2’s camera module is also said to feature an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP tertiary sensor. It will have a 32MP Sony IMX616 front camera inside the single hole punch cutout for selfies and video calls.
OnePlus has also confirmed that the Nord 2’s performance unit will include a Dimensity 1200 AI SoC. As far as storage configurations are concerned, the phone could with 6GB + 64GB, 8GB + 128GB and the top-end variant could feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. We also expect the device to pack a 4,500 mAh battery with Warp Charge 65 fast charging support. Lastly, the Nord 2 is confirmed to run Oxygen OS 11.3, which is based on Android 11 out of the box.
