OnePlus has officially teased the launch of the Nord 2. The company’s new Nord smartphone is expected to launch later this month. OnePlus’ official Twitter handle posted the following tweet, suggesting an imminent launch of the Nord 2.
The teaser post does not specifically mention the name. However, rumours are rife that the Nord 2 is launching later this month. Another post shared on the company’s official Instagram and Facebook accounts teases the “fast and smooth” performance of the upcoming Nord smartphone. The teaser post says OnePlus’ new Nord phone is coming soon. Leaked information so far states that the device’s launch in India is slated for July 24.
Specs and features
We know quite a few things about the upcoming OnePlus phone. The device’s design renders and specifications were tipped previously. According to leaked rumours, the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone will feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The phone was listed on the AI Benchmark website with 8GB of RAM.
On the back, the phone will have a triple-camera setup. It will have a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and another 2MP sensor. For the selfies, the device might opt for a 32MP shooter inside a punch-hole notch. Other specs include a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support and Oxygen OS 11 out of the box.
