Tipster Max Jambor has teased the launch of the Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition smartphone. The tipster did not share the launch timeline of the device. OnePlus, too, has not shared any details of the upcoming Nord smartphone. We can expect the phone to launch around the festive season.

Meanwhile, a separate report from XDA Developers revealed some features that could be exclusive to the phone. A teardown of several APKs revealed some details of the features that could make their way to the Pac-Man edition OnePlus. These include a new lock screen clock theme in the latest OnePlus Launcher release (v5.2.34) with yellow text and the Pac-Man ghost’s eyes. The APK teardown also revealed that the phone has a fingerprint scanner animation and reference related to the game hidden across the stock apps.

Additionally, the stock OnePlus Gallery app has references to a secret sticker that will be unlocked after your Warp Charge the device for 256 minutes.

The only hardware change revealed so far includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 SoC over MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 SoC. We expect the rest of the specs to remain the same.
