OnePlus is gearing up for the Nord 2 launch in India and Europe. The new OnePlus smartphone debuts at 7.30 pm IST via a virtual event. The company has confirmed some of the key details of the device ahead of the launch. The details confirmed mostly include the hardware specifications of the device. OnePlus has also teased the device’s rear panel design while revealing the Blue Haze colour option. A new leak has revealed the other two colour options of the Nord 2. According to leaks, the Nord 2 will launch in three colours – Blue Haze, Gray Sierra, and Green Wood. OnePlus Nord 2 design renders leaked again
OnePlus Nord 2 launches in India on July 27. Hours ahead of the launch, the device’s design and colour options have leaked. The images uploaded by tipster Evan Blass reveal the three colour options of the device. It will come in Blue Haze, Gray Sierra, and a special edition Green Wood colour option. The latter is rumoured to sport a vegan leather finish on the back. On the front, the phone has a flat display with thin bezels and a hole-punch camera cutout.
Tipster Yogesh has also revealed the India pricing details of the Nord 2. The tipster claims that the 8GB + 128GB variant of the Nord 2 will launch in India for Rs 29,999. The 12GB + 256GB model, on the other hand, will launch for Rs 34,999.
OnePlus has already confirmed the key specifications of the Nord 2. It will feature a 6.43-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification. The phone draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The device sports a 50MP triple-camera setup on the back. It is also confirmed to run Android 11-based Oxygen OS 11.3 out of the box. The launch event kicks off at 7.30 PM IST and can be watched via the company’s official YouTube channel.
