OnePlus will launch the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G later this month in India. Following the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G launch, the company is expected to launch another smartphone under the Nord series soon in India. The rumour mill has been claiming that the OnePlus Nord 2T will debut in May 2022. OnePlus has obviously not confirmed any details regarding the launch. Meanwhile, some details of the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone have leaked online.
The Nord 2T has been spotted on the TDRA certification website. In addition to this, the upcoming OnePlus smartphone’s camera specs have also leaked via the Camera FV5 website. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Nord 2T specifications, features and other details leaked so far.
OnePlus Nord 2T TDRA, Camera FV5
The OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to launch in India and a few other markets in May 2022. It has been spotted on TRDA ahead of the launch. The listing reveals the model number and confirms the moniker of the device. The Nord 2T has the model number CPH2399. The same device has been spotted on the GCF Global Certification website. It further suggests that the launch is imminent. While we do not know the launch date yet, the phone is expected to debut in May 2022.
In addition to the above certifications, the phone has also been spotted on the Camera FV5 website. The website shows that the main camera will click 12.6MP images. It is rumoured to feature a 50MP main camera. Therefore, the phone will capture pixel-binned shots. The main camera has an f/1.9 aperture and a 24.6mm focal length. It will come with support for electronic image stabilisation (EIS).
The front camera will click 8MP images. The phone is rumoured to feature a 32MP front camera sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. It will also support EIS. Other details of the phone have leaked in the past. As per the leaked details, the phone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. It is rumoured to sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The rear camera module will come with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor.
At the front, there will be a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There will be a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner for the front camera. The phone is also rumoured to pack a 4500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. It will run Android 12-based Oxygen OS 12 out of the box.
