The breakthrough comes from the noted tipster Mukul Sharma who posted the official website’s source code on his Twitter handle. The BIS listing already confirmed the India launch alongside other certifications.
Previous leaks have revealed specifications identical to the OnePlus Ace 2V that launched in China this March. Moreover, the India testing of the flagship Nord device, which will sit above the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, began in April. Noted tipster Yogesh Brar revealed key details about the upcoming OnePlus Nord series smartphone, including the pricing. According to his intel, OnePlus might position the Nord 3 5G in the Rs 30,000 – Rs 40,000 bracket. As such, the smartphone will be placed between its predecessor OnePlud Nord 2T 5G and OnePlus 11R 5G. The former is currently the flagship Nord offering and starts at Rs 28.999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and the 12GB variant is priced at Rs 33,999.
OnePlus Nord 3 5G: Expected Specifications
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G in India is expected to be a OnePlus Ace 2V rebrand.
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G will feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. Rumours suggest that the processor could be accompanied by up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, the same as its predecessor. Out of the box, the smartphone might boot Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.
In the optics department, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G will flaunt a triple rear camera setup on the back. A 64MP primary sensor headlines the camera module. An 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP sensor accompany the primary camera. On the front, the handset will feature a 16MP camera for selfies. Lastly, the phone is rumoured to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Sharma also spotted the Nord Buds 2r on the official Indian website of the brand, confirming its launch alongside the Nord 3 5G. There’s no word on the specifications of the upcoming TWS, but they are expected to be a toned-down variant of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 (review) launched in India last month.
