OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of Nord smartphones globally. The company had announced that it wouldn’t launch any other smartphones in the OnePlus 11 series. In related news, OnePlus announced a special edition of the OnePlus 11 smartphone earlier today. OnePlus will launch OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G in India on April 4, 2023. The pricing and specifications of the smartphone are already tipped ahead of the launch. Previously, a tipster had revealed that OnePlus would launch OnePlus Ace 2V as OnePlus Nord 3 in global markets. Earlier, we at MySmartPrice had exclusively tipped the specifications and launch timeline of Nord 3. Popular tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has spotted the forthcoming smartphone in Singapore’s IMDA certification.
OnePlus Nord 3 Tipped Specifications
The upcoming Nord 3 smartphone received its first certification from Singapore’s IMDA certification. The listing reveals that the smartphone will bear the model number CPH2493. The listing indicates that the global launch of the smartphone is nearing. Apart from the name and model number, it doesn’t reveal any specifications of the forthcoming device.
Previously, we tipped that OnePlus would launch the Nord 3 smartphone in mid-June or July 2023. The OnePlus Nord 2 was launched in July 2021 in India. We have tipped that the smartphone would feature a 6.72 inches AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. The display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, OnePlus will equip the Nord 3 smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset built on a 4nm process. The chipset has a Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.05GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores at 2.85GHz, four Cortex-A510 cores, and Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. The smartphone will have up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It would run on OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The device is said to feature a triple rear camera setup in a module with LED flash integration. The setup would comprise of primary 50MP sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor would accompany the primary sensor. The 16MP selfie camera would be placed inside the punch-hole in the display. A large 5000 mAh battery would back the smartphone with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast charging tech.
Even though the OnePlus Ace 2V came with an alert slider, OnePlus is likely to skip the same for the Nord 3 smartphone. OnePlus would also equip the smartphone with a stereo speaker setup.
