OnePlus Nord 3 Specifications Leaked; Tipped to Feature Dimensity 9000 SoC, 16GB RAM

OnePlus Nord 3 India launch event could be hosted very soon. The company has teased the launch of its upcoming Nord series smartphone. At the time of writing this, the Nord 3 launch date has been kept under wraps. However, the phone is confirmed to launch in July. OnePlus did not reveal the specifications or features of the Nord 3 in its teaser. However, thanks to the rumour mill, a lot about the upcoming Nord 3 is out there.

Adding to the leaks is a new one by tipster Mukul Sharma. The tipster claims that the Nord 3 is codenamed Vitamin. He also revealed some of the key specifications of the phone ahead of the launch. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Nord 3 specifications, features and other details revealed so far.

OnePlus Nord 3 Specifications: What We Know So Far

OnePlus Nord 3 will be one of the upcoming premium smartphones from the company. It will debut as a successor to last year’s Nord 2T 5G. OnePlus is likely to introduce several upgrades in the Nord 3, according to the latest leak. According to Sharma, the phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC under the hood. The same SoC is found in the Ace 2V in China. Sharma also revealed that the Nord 3 will launch with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. This means that the device might debut with 8GB or 12GB RAM options alongside. OnePlus is also said to offer a 4129.8mm(sq.) vapour chamber cooling system to keep the heat in check.

The phone is said to feature a triple-camera setup on the back. It will feature a 50MP main camera sensor. There will also be an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP tertiary sensor, which could possibly be for macro photography or depth sensing. For selfies, the Nord 3 will feature a 16MP front camera sensor.

The device is said to offer dual speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. It will also feature an X-axis linear motor, NFC, IR Blaster, etc. Sharma claims that the Nord 3 will boot Oxygen OS 13.1 out of the box, which will be based on Android 13.

The device is also said to pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood. It will offer 80W fast charging support. The Nord 3 will sport a tall 6.74-inch AMOLED display. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also likely to feature the iconic alert slider, which is found in many premium OnePlus smartphones.

The phone is rumoured to launch as a rebadged version of the OnePlus Ace 2V from China. In that case, the display will remain flat, much like the sides and rear panel of the phone. It will also feature a hole-punch cutout at the top centre and not offer a 3.5mm headphone jack.
