OnePlus is gearing up for a big launch event early next month. The company has confirmed that it will host a launch event for the unveiling of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G. The device will be an affordable smartphone offering under the Nord lineup and will launch as a successor to the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. Alongside, OnePlus has also confirmed the launch of its new truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, the Nord Buds 2. The Nord Buds 2 will be a successor to the Nord Buds launched last year in India.
The Nords Buds 2 will be available for purchase via Amazon India. The microsite has now confirmed that the upcoming Nord Buds will get support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 specifications, features and other details ahead of the launch.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2 Features Teased
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will be one of the most affordable TWS earbuds from the company. The wearable is set to launch on April 4. Ahead of its launch, the Nord Buds 2 are confirmed to feature support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The feature is not available in the outgoing model. OnePlus revealed that the Buds 2 will offer up to 25 dB of active noise cancellation.
The Amazon microsite also confirms that the Nord Buds 2 will feature 12.4mm, large dual drivers. The earbuds feature a larger diaphragm for better internal airflow.

Some other details of the Nord earbuds have leaked as well. The earbuds are claimed to offer up to 36 hours of battery life with the charging case combined. The earbuds are said to pack 41mAh drivers each, whereas the case could pack a 480mAh cell.
Each earbud will have four microphones, which will not only contribute to clearer calls but also help cancel out ambient noise.
In addition to this, the Nord Buds 2 will have an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. The TWS will launch in two colours — Thunder Grey and Lightning White.
Based on the leaked details, it is safe to say that the Nord Buds 2 India variant will be a rebadged Buds Ace from China. The earbuds have a flat stem and a silicone ear tip. The earbuds will also offer support for Bluetooth 5.3, AAC/SBC codec support, dynamic bass, etc.
Regarding the price, the Nord Buds 2 could be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model. The original Nord Buds were launched for Rs 2,799. With macroeconomic factors, the rising cost of components, etc., we can expect the Nord Buds 2 price in India to be at least around Rs 3,000, if not more.
The company will announce the price and sale details at the event on April 4. We will share more details about the same as and when available. What are your thoughts about the upcoming OnePlus earbuds? Let us know in the comments below.
