The Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r for the Indian market. These upcoming wireless earbuds are expected to launch in India alongside the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone. Ahead of the official launch, recently the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r was spotted at Malaysia’s SIRIM certification. The certification revealed that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r will have a model number E510A. Now, in a recent development, we at MySmartPrice have received the retail box image of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r which reveals the design of the upcoming TWS earbuds.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2r Design Revealed
As seen in the image, we can see that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r will have small silicone earplugs and microphones present at the topside similar to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. These will have a slightly similar design to that of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. Similar to the Nord Buds 2, we also can expect the Nord Buds 2r to offer touch interaction for calls and music playback controls. The other key specifications of the Nord Buds 2r remain unknown currently.
In a piece of related news, the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r was spotted on the OnePlus India website by tipster Mukul Sharma. The listing however did not reveal any specifications of the Nord Buds 2r. The upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r could debut as the cheaper variant of the previously announced OnePlus Nord Buds 2. As of now, the launch date of the OnePlus Nord 2r as well as the OnePlus Nord 3 is yet to be revealed by OnePlus for the Indian market.

To recall, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 from OnePlus comes with a 12.4mm Titanium driver and they offer Bluetooth v5.3 support. These in-ear TWS earbuds have interchanging ear tips, an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, and OnePlus Fast Pair support. Furthermore, the Buds 2 have a 25db active noise cancellation, dual microphones, touch controls for calls and music control, and low latency of 94ms. As far as the other specifications go, the Buds 2 also have Dolby Atmos support and HeyMelody app compatibility.
Each earbuds pack a 41mAh battery, while the case is equipped with a 480mAh battery. With ANC OFF, the Buds 2 offer 7 hours of battery life, while with ANC ON, the earbuds deliver 5 hours of battery backup. These earbuds are priced at Rs 2,999 in India and they come in Lightning White and Thunder Grey colour options.
