OnePlus has officially launched the Nord 3 5G and the Nord CE 3 5G in India. The company has launched its new mid-range smartphones with some premium hardware, including a 50MP Sony IMX890 camera sensor found in the flagship OnePlus 11 5G. Alongside the two Nord series phones, the company has also launched the Nord Buds 2R. The new OnePlus truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds are one of the company’s most affordable pair of wireless earphones in India. OnePlus Nord Buds 2R brings in some premium wireless earbuds features at an affordable price.
The new Buds 2R feature a stem design. They also claim to offer a long battery life, an immersive sound experience, etc. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Nord Buds 2R price in India, specifications and other details.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2R: Price in India and Specifications
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2R has been launched in India in two colour options. The budget wireless earbuds will be available in Deep Grey and Triple Blue colours. It has been priced at Rs 2,199 in India. The Nord Buds 2R go on sale from July 15 via the OnePlus e-store, Amazon India and OnePlus Exclusive stores.
Coming to the hardware and features, the Nord Buds 2R has a stem design, which is slightly long and curved. The earbuds have silicone ear tips that should offer good grip and passive ambient sound cancellation. The case is pebble-shaped and is slightly rounder than the Nord Buds launched last year.
OnePlus has packed 12.4mm extra-large drivers in the Buds 2R, which are also found in the more premium Nord Buds 2. The titanium-coated dynamic drivers claim to deliver thumping bass and crisp, dynamic vocals. Also, the earbuds have been tuned with Dolby Atmos and Dirac Audio Tuner, which, combined, claimed to offer an immersive audio experience when paired with your OnePlus phone.
The earbuds have two microphones. They, along with the company’s AI Clear Call algorithm, claim to accurately block out background noise to keep your calls extra clear.
Coming to the battery life, the Nord Buds 2R is claimed to offer an all-day battery, with 8 hours of music playback or four hours of continuous calling. With the charging case, users can expect to get a minimum of 20 hours of call time or 38 hours of music playback. For those who want even more detailed data, each earbud of the Nord Buds 2R packs a 36mAh cell, whereas the charging case has a 480mAh battery. The case comes with a USB Type-C port for charging. At the time of writing this, there is no word on the fast charging support for the buds or the case.
The earbuds are also IP55 rated, which means that they can handle a bit of sweat and dust. Also, there is support for fast pairing, which means that the device will quickly connect to your OnePlus phone once set up. The Nord Buds 2R is also claimed to offer a good experience even while gaming with its 94ms low latency and support for Bluetooth 5.3.
OnePlus Bullets Z2 ANC: Price and Features
OnePlus also quietly unveiled the Bullets Z2 ANC alongside the Buds 2R. The new neckband-style earphones, as the name suggests, now offer support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 45dB. The neckband earphones support the AI Clear Call algorithm and have three microphones for a clear calling experience. Also, there is a button to switch between two connected devices. The earphones have the same 12.4mm drivers found in the Nord Buds 2R.
Also, there is support for fast charging, which should give you up to 20 hours of juice in 10 minutes. It also has an IP55 rating. All of this will cost buyers Rs 2,299. The Bullets Z2 ANC go on sale in August in two colours — Booming Black and Grand Green.
