OnePlus will host a new launch event in India on April 28. The company will launch the OnePlus 10R and the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G at the event. Alongside, OnePlus has also confirmed the launch of the Nord Buds TWS. The Nord Buds will be the first product other than a smartphone under the Nord series. The TWS is expected to launch in the affordable audio devices category.
OnePlus has teased the design of the upcoming TWS. It will come with a semi in-ear design with a flat design supporting the earbuds. OnePlus Nord Buds Specifications Detailed
OnePlus Nord Buds will launch in India on April 28. The new TWS will first launch in China as the OnePlus Buds N at the OnePlus Ace launch today. Ahead of the launch, tipster Max Jambor has listed the key features of the upcoming Nord TWS. The tipster stated that the Nord Buds will feature 12.4mm drivers in each earbud. The earbuds will support Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity standards.
The TWS will launch in three colours, according to Jambor. So far, the company has confirmed two colours – Black and White. Jambor claims that the TWS will launch in a new Blue colour as well.
In terms of battery life, each earbud is rumoured to pack a 41 mAh battery. The case will pack a 480mAh battery. In total, the buds along with the charging case are rumoured to offer up to 30 hours of battery life. The earbuds alone will offer about seven hours’ worth of juice on a single charge. Jambor claims that a 10-minute charge will offer up to five hours of listening time.
The earbuds will come with an IP55 rating for splash resistance. There will be no support for active noise cancellation (ANC). Previously leaked details also suggest that the earbuds will have a 94ms low latency mode for gaming. The TWS could also offer support for Dolby Atmos.
