OnePlus has announced the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program in India. To recall, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G was launched back in April in the country and is the cheapest smartphone by the brand as of now. OnePlus took it to the OnePlus Community forum to make a formal announcement for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Android 13 Open Beta program.

OnePlus, for the first time, has invited applications for the OxygenOS Open Beta program. Usually, the brand releases OxygenOS Open Beta firmware which users of the eligible device can flash manually on their devices. This time OnePlus is looking to recruit 1000 OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G users from India to participate in the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program. OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G users running firmware version CPH2381_11.A.13 are eligible to apply for the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program in India. Those meeting the criteria can head over to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Beta > Fill in your information > Apply Now to apply for OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Android 13 Open Beta program, if interested.

The OxygenOS 13 also features a Kid Space which allows users to set screen time limits for their kids. Users can also enable the eye-protecting feature in the Kid Space. Apart from the design front, OnePlus has made major changes for improving the multitasking experience.

OnePlus is also introducing a few new features to increase productivity and make the experience more secure. The company has added a new sidebar toolbox that allows users to open an app in a floating window inside another app. The latest iteration of OxygenOS also comes equipped with an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots. • Adds Sidebar Toolbox. You can open floating windows inside apps for smooth operation.
