OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G Design Renders Surface Online Ahead of Official Launch, Show off Circular Camera Module

OnePlus is likely to launch a new Nord series phone soon. The company might unveil the OnePlus Nord CE 3 as its new mid-range smartphone offering in select markets, including India. There is no word on the exact launch date of the device. We can expect the phone to debut early next year. OnePlus has officially not revealed any details about the launch timeline. Meanwhile, a report by 91Mobiles has leaked the design renders of the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone.

Citing tipster OnLeaks, the report revealed that the Nord CE 3 will get a major redesign compared to its predecessor. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Nord CE 3 design renders, specifications and other details known so far.

OnePlus Nord CE 3: What it Might Look Like

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G will be a new mid-range smartphone offering. The device’s design renders and specifications have leaked online. The renders shared by 91Mobiles revealed that the phone will sport two large circular cutouts for the camera setup. The rear camera module houses three sensors in total — one at the top and two in the bottom cutout. The LED flash is placed next to the camera sensors. On the front, there is a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display. The display is surrounded by fairly thin bezels, with the chin being slightly thicker.

The sides of the phone are now flat, compared to the predecessor which featured a curved one. The volume buttons are on the left side, while the power button doubles up as a fingerprint sensor on the right. The bottom edge houses the speaker grille, a USB Type-C port and a microphone.

Other details of the Nord CE 3 have leaked in the past. The phone is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate support. The device is also said to pack a Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is found in the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. It will come with a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

The rear camera setup is said to feature a 108MP main camera sensor and two 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. The Nord CE 3 will come with a 16MP front camera. It is said to launch with the base model having 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 12GB RAM variant is likely to offer 256GB of internal storage. Other details of the Nord CE 3 5G are unknown at the moment. Based on the leaked specs, we can expect the phone to be priced under Rs 25,000.
