OnePlus has confirmed the launch of Nord CE 5G in India. The company will launch the upcoming Nord smartphone in India on June 10. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also confirmed the existence of another Nord smartphone called the N200 5G. This one, however, will launch in the US and Canada. Lau revealed some key details of the Nord CE 5G. He told TechRadar that the CE stands for Core Edition. It is a revamped version of the original Nord launched last year in India. OnePlus Nord CE 5G India launch details
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed the launch of the Nord CE 5G in India. The upcoming OnePlus smartphone will launch on June 10. Lau told TechRadar that the CE 5G is a revamped version of the original Nord.
“We have distilled the original Nord down to its core elements, and added a few extra features to create a great everyday phone at an even more affordable price,” Lau said. This means that the Nord CE 5G will launch between Rs 15,000 and Rs 25,000 in India. The original Nord started at Rs 24,999 in the country. It will launch on June 10 in India and Europe.
Lau also shared some details of the Nord N200 5G. It will launch later this year in the US and Canada. The device’s specs and features are currently unknown. We can expect it to be a budget to a mid-range offering. The device is getting an upgrade in the form of 5G network connectivity. Lau also revealed that some of the OnePlus flagship features will trickle down to the Nord smartphones. He did not reveal the specific features during the interview. Lau did not share any details about the accidentally-confirmed Nord 2.
