After teasing the device for months, OnePlus has finally launched the Nord smartphone today. The device has made its global debut in India, which also happens to be the first market where the device will go on sale. The OnePlus Nord is the first mid-range phone that the brand has launched after the OnePlus X. The OnePlus Nord is placed below the OnePlus 7T, as you would imagine, and here are the prices, availability, offers, and specifications of the smartphone.

The OnePlus Nord comes in three memory configurations in the Indian market, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The base version is priced at INR 24,999, the one with 8GB RAM is priced at INR 27,999, whereas, the top-end version costs INR 29,999. The pre-orders of the OnePlus Nord will commence from 22nd July and the device will go on sale from 28th July.

OnePlus Nord: Features and specifications

The OnePlus Nord features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a wide punch-hole to its top-left corner, which accommodates two cameras. It comes protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is worth noting that the display doesn’t have support for HDR content.

OnePlus is usually ahead of competitors when it comes to processing power but not with the OnePlus Nord. The brand has packed the Nord with the same Snapdragon 765G SoC that you see in most other mid-range smartphones. That being said, this chipset is capable enough of handling the heaviest of the tasks with ease. The device ships with Android 10 customized with OxygenOS 10.5.

The OnePlus Nord has a total of six cameras, four at the rear, and two at the front. The four rear cameras are 48MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, you get a 32MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. Surprisingly, the front camera can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second but the rear camera can’t.

The OnePlus Nord packs a 4115mAh battery and the phone has Warp Charge 30T 30W fast charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support with 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, dual-band GPS, and USB Type-C port. You also get an in-display fingerprint scanner, a pre-applied screen protector, and a case inside the box.
