OnePlus Nord Android 11 update rolled back a week after rollout following issues

OnePlus recently rolled out the OxygenOS 11 update running on Android 11 for the OnePlus Nord. A week after the rollout, the company has now rolled back the update.

The update was rolled back due to stability issues. A OnePlus Community Consultant took to the OnePlus Community Forums to inform that the Android 11 update for the Nord was rolled back due to stability issues. “The update has been temporarily paused to ensure a smooth user experience, due to some bugs that have been detected. We are now trying our best to investigate and will release an updated build ASAP in the near future. Users who have installed the previous version can get the issues fixed through the later version updates. Thank you very much for your patience,” he said.

OnePlus is currently investigating the issues and should release the Oxygen OS 11 update for Nord once fixed.

The OnePlus 7 beta 3 update has also been delayed due to issues with the Always-On Display (AOD). According to a user, the OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T Pro running on HydrogenOS in China were also rolled back following bug findings.

We will share more details once OnePlus officially announces a stable rollout of OxygenOS 11 for Nord.
