OnePlus introduced the Nord smartphone lineup back in 2020. The brand, earlier this year, launched its first non-smartphone product under the Nord lineup. As of now, the brand has two non-smartphone products under the Nord lineup – the Nord Buds and the Nord Buds CE. Now, OnePlus is all set to expand the audio portfolio under the Nord branding with the OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones. The OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones will launch on August 27 in the country.
Ahead of the launch, a microsite has gone live on Amazon India which reveals the design and some of the features of the upcoming Nord Wired Earphones. OnePlus says that it has patterned the design of the Nord Wired Earphones after the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z with a classic black finish and red accents.

OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones: Specifications and Features
The Nord Wired Earphones will offer 9.2mm dynamic drivers and a 0.42cc sound cavity as revealed on the launch microsite. The earphones will come with an inline mic and buttons for volume adjustments and music playback pause/resume. Using the button, users will also be able to take calls and summon voice assistants.
Similar to other OnePlus earphones, the upcoming Nord Wired Earphones will also feature magnets on both sides and users can simply clip both to pause the music playback and unclip to resume the same. The OnePlus Nord Wired Earphones will only be compatible with select Nord phones since it has 3.5mm audio to connect with smartphones. For other devices that do not have a 3.5mm audio jack, users will need a Type-C to 3.5mm audio dongle to use the Nord Wired Earphones.
Also, ahead of the launch, tipster Mukul Sharma has spotted the Amazon listing for the upcoming OnePlus Nord Wired headphones which reveal that these will carry an MRP of Rs 1,299 and might be sold for around Rs 1,000.
