The OnePlus Open is set to launch in India tomorrow i.e on October 19. Ahead of the official launch, we have been learning new details about the company’s first foldable smartphone since last few weeks. We at MySmartPrice revealed the detailed specifications of the handset back in July. Additionally, a video uploaded by YouTuber Michael Fisher recently confirmed some additional details of the handset. Now, ahead of the launch, folks at 91Mobiles have spotted the OnePlus Open at Geekbench. The device also has received FCC approval ahead of tomorrow’s debut.
OnePlus Open Will Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, And 4,805mAh Battery Capacity
The benchmark listing reveals that the OnePlus Open will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The device will pack with up to 16GB of RAM as revealed by the test result. On the software side of things, the smartphone will boot Android 13 out of the box with OxygenOS 13 skin on top. The device has managed to pull off 1557 and 4462 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
Moving onto the details revealed by the FCC certification, the listing indicates that the device will height be 153.4mm, while its length will be of 142.8mm. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will pack a dual-cell 3,295mAh and 1,510mAh battery capacity, which will result in a total of 4,805mAh capacity. Apart from the dimensions, and battery capacity details, the FCC certification also reveals that the device will ship with a VCB8JAUH charging adapter which supports up to 80W fast charging. The smartphone will also have a NFC support, 6GHz Wi-Fi compatibility, and a Bluetooth v5.3 LE support.
OnePlus Open Specifications, Pricing (Expected)
As far as the rest of the key features of the device go, it is expected to feature a 7.8-inch AMOLED display on the inner side, while the outer display on the smartphone could be of 6.31-inches. Both the display panels are tipped to offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to feature a triple-camera setup which might consist of a 48MP primary camera sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP telephoto camera sensor. The selfie camera on the device could be of 32MP and 20MP respectively. The smartphone is expected to retail in India for Rs 1,39,999 as per the recent leak. The handset is tipped to go on sale in India from October 27.
