Earlier this year, OnePlus launched its first tablet in India, the OnePlus Pad. The tablet gathered great attention with its 144Hz screen and Dimensity 9000 processor, at an attractive price. The company has been teasing a Go version of its OnePlus Pad which is expected to launch in the budget segment.

OnePlus has confirmed the display specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Pad. As per details shared by the company, the OnePlus Pad Go will offer a similar display experience to the OnePlus Pad, but at mid-tier pricing.

OnePlus Pad Go Display Specifications Confirmed by OnePlus

In an interview with Digital Trends, Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus, confirmed the display specifications of the OnePlus Pad Go. He says that the bezel thickness on the OnePlus Pad Go will be the same as its elder cousin, the OnePlus Pad.

Liu also added that the OnePlus Pad Go will feature a 2.4K display. The idea behind going with a high-resolution panel is to provide the best visual experience to the user, he added. Based on this information, the OnePlus Pad is expected to come with an 11.6-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2800 x 2000.

The refresh rate of the display was not disclosed by Liu in the interview. However, considering that he said that OnePlus is focused on offering a similar visual experience on the OnePlus Pad Go as its pricier sibling, we can expect the refresh rate to be at least 120Hz.

Liu also said that the OnePlus Pad Go will offer seamless file sharing between OnePlus devices. He said that OnePlus will achieve its own ecosystem. The OnePlus Pad Go will get a new Content Sync feature, which will allow users to quickly share media and clipboard from their OnePlus smartphone to the OnePlus Pad Go.

The new file-sharing system will work on a drag-and-drop gesture. Users will not have to worry about using the same account on two devices, or any other logins. The company will provide an actual demonstration of this feature at the time of the launch.

OnePlus is also working on a feature that will allow users to take calls on any OnePlus device that they have. All devices in the OnePlus Ecosystem will also be able to share screens seamlessly, without needing to use a WiFi hotspot.

OnePlus has worked hard on polishing the software experience on its tablets, said Liu. The upcoming OnePlus Pad Go will run on Oxygen OS 13, based on Android 13. The tablet will soon get an update to Oxygen OS 14.

When asked about a tentative launch date for the OnePlus Pad Go, Mr Liu did not give a clear answer. He said that the schedule of the company is jam-packed. OnePlus will soon release the OnePlus Go in the global markets. He also added that the company will launch its first foldable, OnePlus Open, after the launch of the OnePlus Pad Go tablet.
