OnePlus Pad Go Official Teasers Reveal RAM, Storage, and Connectivity Details Ahead of October 6 Launch

OnePlus is all set to unveil a new Android tablet – the OnePlus Pad Go in the Indian market. As per the announcement, the OnePlus Pad Go will launch on October 6 in the country. A few days back, OnePlus revealed that the upcoming tablet will feature an 11.35-inch display with a 2.4K resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio. The company has also confirmed a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio for the OnePlus Pad Go.

Now, OnePlus, through its launch micro-site, has revealed that the OnePlus Pad Go will feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Another teaser shared by the company suggests that the OnePlus Pad Go will be offered in cellular connectivity option. However, it won’t support 5G cellular connectivity. Instead, to use 5G data speeds, users will have an option to share their mobile data on the go.

OnePlus Pad Go will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is not clear if the company will offer the upcoming tablet in a single configuration or if there will be multiple configurations to choose from. The OnePlus Pad Go has also obtained TUV certification for low blue light technology. OnePlus Pad will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Amazon, and OnePlus stores in the Indian market.

OnePlus has also dropped a teaser which suggests that the OnePlus Pad Go will support WiFi and LTE connectivity. This means that the OnePlus Pad Go will use a 4G-enabled processor and won’t support 5G data networks. To use 5G data speeds, users will have to rely on mobile hotspots. However, the company will offer better integration with OnePlus smartphones which should make things a bit easier for users.

Recently, OnePlus Pad Go specifications surfaced on the web. As per the leaked information, the OnePlus Pad Go will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. This is the same processor that powers last year’s Redmi Pad tablet. Apart from that, the OnePlus Pad Go is also tipped to sport an 8000mAh battery unit under the hood. The charging specifications of the upcoming tablet are still under wraps.

Talking about the optics, the OnePlus Pad Go is tipped to offer an 8MP rear camera. The device will feature a circular camera module which will house the single rear camera. It will not feature an LED flash. The selfies and video calls on the tablet are expected to be taken care of by an 8MP front shooter. In terms of design, based on the teasers, the OnePlus Pad Go seems to be inspired by its elder sibling – the OnePlus Pad.
