A recent report from Android Authority revealed that OnePlus is working on an affordable variant of the OnePlus Pad, which will be dubbed under the OnePlus Pad Go moniker.
The Android Authority cited an X user with the username “1NormalUsername,” who is pretty accurate with OnePlus leaks. OnePlus has started teasing the upcoming Pad Go tablet launch in India.

The second caption confirms that the upcoming tablet will feature a large battery, providing users with an all-day backup despite heavy usage. OnePlus has also created a micro-site for the upcoming tablet with the “All Play, All Day” captions. The micro-site confirms that something is coming soon.
OnePlus is expected to announce the moniker and launch date of the tablet in the upcoming weeks. The upcoming tablet will mark the entrance of OnePlus into the budget tablet segment. The schematics shared by the brand confirm that the upcoming Pad Go tablet will feature a single rear camera. OnePlus will equip the tablet with a camera cut-out similar to the original OnePlus Pad.
However, the schematics suggest that OnePlus will ditch the LED flashlight as part of cost-cutting for the upcoming tablet. Previously, the 1NormalUsername tipster spotted the upcoming OnePlus Pad Go in BIS certification with the model numbers OPD2304 and OPD2305. The devices received BIS certification on August 16, 2023, indicating the launch is nearing.
The specifications of the upcoming budget tablet are expected to be revealed through other certifications in the upcoming weeks. Previously, MySmartPrice learned through a reliable tipster that OnePlus would launch the upcoming budget tablet in January 2024.
OnePlus seems to be in a hurry to launch the product to capture the budget Android tablet segment. To recall, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Pad on February 2023 along with the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R smartphones in India.
The maiden tablet from OnePlus sports a large 11.61-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels. The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and HDR10+ certification.
Under the hood, the tablet features MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The tablet is backed by a large 9510mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. The company claims that a 60-minute charging will charge the device from 0 to 90%.
