OnePlus, alongside the OnePlus 11 and the OnePlus 11R, introduced the OnePlus Pad tablet at the Cloud 11 event in February. The OnePlus Pad is the company’s first product in the Android tablet segment and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. It has been almost two months since OnePlus announced the OnePlus Pad but it is not yet available for purchase.
Now, OnePlus, in its latest newsletter, has revealed that the OnePlus Pad pre-orders will begin on April 28. However, the same information is not yet live on OnePlus India Store and Flipkart. To those unaware, the OnePlus Pad will be sold exclusively via Flipkart in India. Let us take a closer look at the details.
OnePlus says that OnePlus Pad pre-orders will start from April 28. People can head over to the OnePlus Pad page on the OnePlus website and hit Notify Me button to get a chance to win a OnePlus Pad.
OnePlus Pad: Specifications and Features
The OnePlus Pad features an 11.61-inch LCD display with a 2800 x 2000 pixel resolution and 296ppi pixel density. It is a 144Hz refresh rate panel that supports a 1400: 1 contrast ratio and 500nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Pad sports a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. It features an octa-core CPU and a Mali G710 GPU. The tablet features up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It comes pre-loaded with OxygenOS 13.1, based on Android 13.
The OnePlus Pad comes equipped with an 8MP front shooter that takes care of video calls and selfies. It also features a 13MP rear camera that is supported by an LED flash. It has a quad stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio. On the security front, it supports software-based face unlock.
The OnePlus Pad is backed by a 9510mAh battery unit and 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It relies on a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. It lacks the 3.5mm audio jack so audio is also routed through the Type-C port. The OnePlus Pad weighs 552 grams and measures 258 × 189.4 × 6.5mm. It comes in a Halo Green colour option. Connectivity features of the device include WiFi 6 802.11 ax and Bluetooth 5.3.
OnePlus is yet to reveal the pricing of the OnePlus Pad. OnePlus has also announced a compatible keyboard and stylus for the OnePlus Pad. We can expect the company to announce the pricing of the OnePlus Pad, Stylus, and Keyboard in the coming days ahead of pre-orders.
