OnePlus Pad Could have Stylus Support, Render Reveals

OnePlus's first tablet might feature support stylus support.

OnePlus is all set to make a debut in a new Android tablet category with the OnePlus Pad. The company’s first tablet – the OnePlus Pad is launching alongside the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R on February 7 in India. Ahead of the launch, the brand has released a couple of teasers revealing some of the details about the upcoming OnePlus Pad. A teaser shared by the company on its official website suggests that the OnePlus Pad will feature stylus support.

A teaser shared by the company shows one of the sides of the OnePlus Pad. This side appears to have a magnetic connector, which should be for charging the stylus magnetically. This confirms that the OnePlus’s first tablet will feature support stylus support.

The moniker of the stylus is not known. However, we can expect OnePlus to launch the stylus alongside the OnePlus Pad in the upcoming launch event. The OnePlus Pad, with the codename Aries, has been in the testing phase in the Indian market. Recently, MySmartPrice exclusively leaked the design renders of the upcoming OnePlus Pad.

The leaked renders reveal that the tablet will feature a unibody metal design and will offer an 11.6-inch display panel. The leaked renders showcase the OnePlus Pad in a green colour option. The tablet will feature a single rear camera and an LED flash which will be placed inside a circular module. The front camera will be placed on the right bezel of the device, so that tablet is supposed to be used in landscape mode during video calls.

In terms of specifications, nothing is known about the upcoming OnePlus Pad as of now. However, we can expect the OnePlus Pad to pop up on certification websites ahead of its launch. Also, hopefully, the OnePlus Pad might visit Geekbench in the next couple of weeks, which will eventually help us know about the processor and Android version.
