Oppo has silently launched Oppo A15s, the successor to the Oppo A15, in the country. Oppo A15s inherits most of the specifications from its predecessor. The smartphone packs an entry-level MediaTek G35 SoC, a 13MP triple-rear camera setup, and a 4,230mAh battery unit. At just 7.9mm, the Oppo A15s is amongst the sleekest devices in its price segment. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the smartphone carries a price of Rs. 11,490. The smartphone will be available in the above-mentioned configuration only. The Oppo A15s will be available for purchase starting December 21st.

The company has also teamed up with several banks for launch offers. ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, Bank of Baroda, Zest customers can avail of 5% cashback on purchase of Oppo A15s. Oppo A15s Specifications and Features

The smartphone offers a modern bezel-less display with a waterdrop notch and a thick bottom chin. Oppo A15s retails in Rainbow Silver, Fancy White, and Dynamic black color variants in the country. Talking about the display, the smartphone packs a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a 1600×720 pixel resolution.

Under-the-hood, the smartphone sports an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 built on a 12nm fabrication process. While the integrated GE8320 GPU takes care of the graphics duties. The A15s comes only in 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage configuration, the storage can further be expanded up to 256GB with the help of a dedicated micro-SD card slot.

Moving to the optics, the smartphone offers a triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash, all enclosed inside a squircle camera module. The 13MP primary sensor on the A15s gets accompanied by a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfies, the smartphone packs an 8MP front shooter.

All this is supported by a 4,230mAh non-removable battery which supports up to 10W charging. For the charging and data transfers, the A15s offers a dated micro-USB charging port. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor along with face unlock support on the device.

On the connectivity side, it offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, and BDS. The device measures 164×75.4×7.9mm, and weighs around 177grams.
