Oppo is planning to launch a new handset under its A-series in the Indian market. MySmartPrice has exclusively learnt that Oppo is planning to launch the Oppo A16e smartphone in the Indian market, courtesy of Mukul Sharma. Furthermore, Sharma also shared the variant-wise pricing of the upcoming Oppo A-series device.

The upcoming A16e is an entry-level handset and was launched in Pakistan sometime back. It is powered by an Helio P-series processor and a 4230mAh battery. The handset will offer a large display with an HD+ resolution and a 13MP rear camera.

Sharma tells us that the A16e will launch in two configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The 3GB + 32GB variant of the device will be priced at Rs 9,990. Whereas, the 4GB + 64GB variant of the A16e will cost Rs 11,990.

The upcoming mid-range handset from Oppo offers a 6.52-inch display with an HD+ resolution, 269ppi pixel density, and 480nits peak brightness. The display panel houses the front selfie inside a waterdrop notch.

The A16e is powered by an octa-core Helio P22 processor. To those unaware, the Helio P22 is quite an old processor. It brings with it an integrated PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes preloaded with Android 11.

The upcoming Oppo A-series smartphone is be equipped with a 13MP rear shooter that has an f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 5MP front camera. The handset has a 4230mAh battery unit.

The A16e has a micro-USB charging port, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It weighs 175grams and measures 164 × 75.4 × 7.85mm. The Oppo A16e will retail in three colour options – Black, Blue, and Silver.

The launch date of the upcoming Oppo handset is now known yet. However, we can expect it to launch soon in the Indian market.
