OPPO is gearing up to launch a couple of budget-centric smartphones soon globally as well as in India. Recently, the OPPO A77s moniker was confirmed by NBTC and the device also cleared the EU Declaration and BIS certification, hinting at an imminent launch of the device.
Now, a new OPPO A series device, the OPPO A17K has been spotted on three certifications. The OPPO A17K will be the successor to the OPPO A16K, launched in India in January 2022. Now, the successor has been listed on IMDA, BIS, and TKDN certification websites revealing some key features of the device. Let’s take a look at the details.
OPPO A17K Bags Multiple Certifications
The upcoming OPPO A series phone, the OPPO A17K with the “CPH2471” model number has been spotted on the IMDA website. This site also confirms the phone’s name as A17K. The website further confirms that this device will support WCDMA and LTE mobile networks along with support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS. With the same model number, the device has also been spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website, which means the phone might also soon launch in India.
Further, the OPPO A17K has been spotted on the TKDN website with CPH2471 model number and this site also confirmed the A17K will be a 4G phone. Lastly, the same phone has been spotted on Indonesia Telecom certification as well. Apart from the aforementioned info, the websites does not reveal anything else and since the device has already bagged three certifications, we can expect the official announcement to happen soon.
The OPPO A16K launched earlier this year comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen and the phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. On the back, there is a rectangular module housing a single 13MP rear camera sensor. For selfies, there is a 5MP front camera. The phone packs a 4230mAh battery.
