The OPPO A2 Pro will launch in China on September 15 as per the information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. Apart from sharing the launch timeline, the tipster also has shared few key specifications of the device. This upcoming smartphone from OPPO will arrive as a successor to the OPPO A1 Pro which was announced in November last year. The OPPO A2 Pro already has received the TENAA certification in China back in July with model number PGJ110. The listing revealed that the smartphone will have a curved display and a circular camera module.
OPPO A2 Pro Might Pack a 5,000mAh Battery
As per tipster Digital Chat Station, the OPPO A2 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display which will have a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the handset could also have a 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming support. The smartphone is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. As for the optics, the handset is speculated to feature a triple-camera setup accompanied by a LED flash. The camera module might include a main sensor, an ultra-wide lens and a depth sensor. The smartphone is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery which no doubt will support fast charging.
It is worth noting that OPPO has not revealed the launch timeframe of the device, yet. The company may announce the OPPO A2 Pro launch date in the coming days.
To recall, the OPPO A2 Pro’s predecessor, the OPPO A1 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC which is coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 13 out of the box and also has a microSD card slot. The device features a 108MP primary camera which has a f/1.7 aperture. The primary 108MP sensor is accompanied by a 2MP portrait camera.
On the front side, the handset features a 16MP selfie camera. The device packs a 4,800mAh battery which offers 67W fast charging support. The other key features which the A1 Pro offers include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speaker setup, and a dual-SIM card support.
