After launching it in its home country, OPPO has finally launched its mid-range OPPO A53 smartphone in India. The OPPO A53 features a 6.5-inch 90Hz display, a triple rear camera mechanism, and a Snapdragon 460 processor. The OPPO A53 is launched in two memory variants in the country, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is priced at INR 12,990, and one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, which is priced at INR 15,490.

The OPPO A53 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, and a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. The device flaunts a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, which is located in the top left corner of the device’s display. The punch-hole makes room for a 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture. Moving around the rear of the device, the OPPO A53 has a triple rear camera setup, which consists of a 16MP primary camera and a pair of 2MP cameras encased underneath a rectangular module. Furthermore, the OPPO A53 features a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner.
Powering the OPPO A53 is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. If 64GB is not sufficient enough for your media consumption needs, the same can be expanded by up to 256GB with the help of an external SD card. In the software department, the OPPO A53 ships with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house ColorOS 7.2 skin baked on top of it. As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the OPPO A53 has a 5,000mAh battery, which has scope for up to 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
