Oppo A54 4G pass through certification sites

The Oppo A54 4G was confirmed by NBTC, Indonesia Telecom and TKDN certifications. But unfortunately, none of the certifications confirm the specs or features of the smartphone. The Oppo A54 4G has the model number CPH2239.

The A54 4G picked up the TKDN certification on Feb 19, while Indonesia Telecom certified it on Feb 24. The NBTC certification, however, confirms the model codenamed CPH2239 is indeed the Oppo A54 4G.

The specifications of the smartphone that’s expected to launch soon in India is unknown at the moment. But we do have some idea about the 5G variant.

Oppo A54 5G launch teased in Japan

The 5G variant of the Oppo A54 was recently teased in Japan, appearing on the website of its official telecom provider. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 480 SoC, paired with and will come in two colour variants. The smartphone will rock a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display and a 5,000mAh battery. On the back is a quad camera module with a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide lens and two 2MP cameras for depth and macro shots. On the front, the Oppo A54 is expected to sport a 16MP selfie camera.

Looking at the specs of the 5G variant, it’s safe to assume the 4G variant will also offer similar features, sans the 5G support. The chipset as a result could be different on the Oppo A54 4G, and as a result more affordable than the 5G variant in India.
