OPPO is gearing up for the launch of two A-series smartphones in India. The company will launch the OPPO A74 5G and the A54 next week in India. It will launch the A74 5G in India on April 20. The A54, on the other hand, launches in India on April 19. The two smartphones are already available in select international markets. OPPO A54 specifications

The A54 is the more affordable smartphone among the two. It features a 6.51-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has a hole-punch cutout on the top left, resulting in an 89.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display comes with support for 60Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the device draws power from a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. We can expect it to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of internal memory. It also packs a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The device has a triple-camera setup on the back with a 13MP priamry camera. The other two sensors are 2MP sensors for macro and depth sensing. Oppo’s budget smartphone features a 16MP front camera. It runs Android 10-based Color OS 7.2 out of the box. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IPX4 rating for splash resistance.

OPPO A74 5G specifications

The A74 5G also features 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. However, this phone comes with a 90Hz refresh rate display. The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

Performance-wise, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. This particular device is available with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in international markets. For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera. On the back, the phone has a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and two 2MP sensors. A recent report tipped that the phone will launch in India with a triple-camera setup. It will miss out on the 8MP ultrawide camera. The phone runs Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box. It will launch in Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black in India.
