OPPO is gearing up for the launch of two A-series smartphones in India. The company will launch the OPPO A74 5G and the A54 next week in India. It will launch the A74 5G in India on April 20. The A54, on the other hand, launches in India on April 19. The two smartphones are already available in select international markets. OPPO A74 5G confirmed to launch later this month in India alongside OPPO A54
OPPO will launch the OPPO A54 and A74 5G later this month in India. The two smartphones have been launched in international markets.
OPPO will launch the A54 in India on April 19. The A74 5G, on the other hand, launches the next day, i.e. April 20. We already know the specifications of the two devices, courtesy of their international availability.
OPPO A54 specifications
The A54 features a 6.51-inch display with a hole-punch screen with an HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels). It has a 60Hz refresh rate panel and comes with an 89.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
The device draws power from a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The international variant is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It packs a massive 5000 mAh battery and comes with 18W fast charging support.
On the back is a triple-camera setup. The device has a 13MP primary camera sensor, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP bokeh lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera sensor.
The phone boots on Android 10-based Color OS 7.2 out of the box. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with AI Face unlock. It also has an IPX4 waterproof certification for splash resistance.
OPPO A74 5G specifications
The A74 5G features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone packs a 5000 mAh battery under the hood. It comes with 18W fast charging support.
At the front is a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate support. The India variant is tipped to feature a triple-camera setup on the back. It will have a 48MP primary camera and two 2MP depth sensors. The international variant has a quad-camera setup which comes with an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It runs Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box. The phone will arrive in Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black in India.
