Oppo has launched a new budget smartphone in China. The company has launched the Oppo A57 5G as a successor of the A56 5G, which was unveiled last year. The device comes with a flat frame design. It has been launched in multiple colour options and storage configurations.

Oppo is expected to launch the device in India and other markets in the coming weeks. As of now, there is no official word on the device’s availability outside China. While we wait for some more details on that front, let’s take a look at the Oppo A57 5G price, specifications and other details.

Oppo A57 5G Price in India

Oppo has launched the A57 5G in China. The budget 5G smartphone arrives in two storage options, with the base model having 6GB of RAM. It has 128GB of internal storage. The pricing details of this variant are currently under wraps. Oppo has also launched the phone in an 8GB RAM option. It also comes with 128GB of internal storage. The phone is priced at CNY 1499 (roughly Rs 17,900). If the phone launches in India, we can expect it to be available for under Rs 20,000.

Oppo A57 5G Specifications and Features

The A57 5G comes with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD. The screen has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a waterdrop notch at the top of the display for the front camera. The screen also supports a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and a 90Hz refresh rate.

On the back, there is a rectangular camera module housing a dual-camera setup. The phone has a 13MP main camera sensor along with a 2MP portrait sensor. The LED flash is also placed inside the camera module.

For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera sensor. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the power button. Its volume buttons are located on the left side of the frame. The phone also comes with dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It packs a 5000 mAh battery with support for 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. Under the hood, the phone draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. It comes with 6GB /8GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The phone supports storage expansion via a microSD card. It runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.
