OPPO has launched a new A-series smartphone in India. The company has launched the OPPO A57e as its new budget smartphone under Rs 15,000. The new OPPO smartphone is fairly similar to the A57, which was launched earlier this year. Notably, the A57 and the A57e are also priced similarly in India. The minor differences include a single speaker setup, support for Bluetooth 5.2 and a single storage option on the A57e.

OPPO has launched the A57e as its new budget 4G smartphone. The device has been launched with a single storage option. It offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is support for storage expansion using a microSD card up to 1TB. It is priced at Rs 13,999. The A57e 4G is available for purchase via Flipkart. Customers can choose to buy the phone in Green and Black colour options.
In terms of specifications, the A57e 4G packs a 5000 mAh battery. The phone supports 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. It also features a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, which is an entry-level offering.
The device also sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It has a waterdrop notch on top for the front camera. The chin is the thickest among the bezels around the 60Hz screen.
OPPO is offering the phone with a dual-camera setup on the back. The phone has a 13MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The phone also has an LED flash module. For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera. Lastly, the phone runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.
