To meet the growing demand for budget and mid-range devices that cost as less as possible, Oppo and Vivo have simultaneously launched a 3GB RAM variant of their 4GB RAM devices A7 and Y93. The new models cost less and are hence expected to drive sales better.

While the Vivo Y93 was earlier available only in 4GB RAM plus 32GB storage configuration, it is now also selling in 3GB RAM plus 64GB storage configuration, which is strange but is also likely to appeal well to budget phone buyers. The Oppo A7 was available only in 4GB+64GB configuration but is now selling in 3GB+64GB configuration as well. Read on for pricing details.

Oppo A7, Vivo Y93 New 3GB+64GB Variants: Price In India

The new variant of Oppo A7 is available for sale from today, i.e. January 11, at Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Snapdeal. It costs INR 14,990, which is INR 2,000 less than the price tag of the 4GB RAM variant. The Vivo Y93 in 3GB RAM variant costs INR 12,990, which is INR 1,000 less than the price of the Vivo Y93 in 4GB RAM variant. The new Vivo Y93 3GB+64GB model is already available at Amazon and Vivo’s e-store, just like its standard 4GB RAM variant.

Oppo A7, Vivo Y93 Features

There is no difference in specs between these new models and their standard editions. The Oppo A7 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, and sports 6.2-inch HD+ display. It has a large 4230mAh battery, and a 13MP+2MP rear dual camera. The front camera is 16MP, and you can buy the device in Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue colors.

The Vivo Y93 also has a large 4030mAh battery, and is powered by Mediatek’s Helio P22 processor. This one gets an 8MP front camera and the same 13MP+2MP rear dual camera. The display too is similar, 6.2 inches in size and HD+ in resolution, and both phones get waterdrop notch design. The Vivo Y93 also comes in two colors, Nebula Purple and Starry Black, but both of these are gradient colors, while neither of the two Oppo A7 colors is of gradient type.
